LEGACY SPORTS NETWORK

Announces 2009 High School Football Broadcast Schedule, Announce Teams and Radio Affiliates

HOUSTON—Beginning August 28, the Legacy Sports Network (LSN) begins its second season of broadcasting Houston area high school football. This year LSN has entered into agreements with radio stations, 1560 AM KGOW and 700 AM KSEV, to carry its production.

1560 The Game (1560 AM KGOW) will carry LSN’s package “The 1560 Game of the Week Presented by The Sports House” on Friday nights beginning on August 28 with the St. Thomas Eagles visiting the Strake Jesuit Crusaders. The Voice (700 AM KSEV) will be LSN’s vehicle for “FabEnCo Saturday Night Football on The Voice of Texas Presented by First Community Credit Union” starting on August 29 as the Hightower Hurricanes take on the Eisenhower Eagles.

LSN’s announce pairings for the 2009 season are as follows : Lonnie King and Brett Mills begin their second season together and the first for “The 1560 Game of the Week Presented by The Sports House”. Jeremy Branham will be situated in the KGOW studios to host the Pregame, Halftime and Postgame shows. Branham will also provide updates from the area throughout each game broadcast. Michael Silvers, Brent Moody and Jerrell Branch will call the action on “FabEnCo Saturday Night Football on The Voice of Texas Presented by First Community Credit Union”. For Silvers and Moody this will be their seventh season together and their second for the Legacy Sports Network. Branch, a former standout at Clements High School in Sugar Land, enters his first season with the Legacy Sports Network. Lonnie King shifts from the booth on Friday to the studio at KSEV on Saturday nights.
